Hi everyone, Sheridan here,

For over 19 years, I served as a police officer, dedicating my career to protecting people, solving problems, and doing the right thing — even when it wasn’t easy.

That job taught me a lot: responsibility, attention to detail, reliability, and the importance of trust. When people call the police, they’re often at their most vulnerable — and you learn very quickly how much your word, your actions, and your consistency matter.

While policing has its rewards, it can also take over your life. Over time, I realised I wanted more balance — more time with my family, and the chance to build something of my own that reflected my values.

That’s where GGT began.

I still wanted to serve others — just in a different way.
By creating a cleaning company built on trust, care, and doing things properly, I could help people feel comfortable and confident in their own spaces, while building a business I’m proud of and can one day pass on.

As Head Cleaner and Co-Owner, I take real pride in our standards. Every cleaner on our team is vetted, trained, and expected to treat each home or workplace with the same respect I’d expect in my own. We don’t cut corners, rush jobs, or treat clients like numbers.

Hey everyone, I’m Kobe — I work alongside my dad, Sheridan, as part of the GGT cleaning team.

I’m 19 and have grown up around the idea of working hard, showing respect, and doing things properly. Before joining GGT full-time, I played football in local leagues through my early teens and completed my college qualification in carpentry, which taught me a lot about discipline, precision, and pride in your work — all things that carry over into what I do now.

Working with your dad definitely has its moments.
He’s strict, standards are high, and let’s just say calling in sick isn’t exactly an option when you live under the same roof.

But jokes aside, I wouldn’t change it.

Working at GGT has taught me far more than just cleaning. I’ve learned how to speak to people properly, take responsibility, stay consistent, and hold myself to a standard — even when no one’s watching. We have our ups and downs like any family, but I’m grateful for the lessons, the trust, and the opportunity to be part of building something real.

Outside of work, I’m big into football, cars, and getting to the gym when I can — and if I don’t have a 6am start, I’ll probably squeeze in the odd online game too.

At the end of the day, I take real pride in the work we do and in leaving every home or workspace spotless. If I’m cleaning your space, you can be confident it’s being done properly.

GGT started from a shared belief that cleaning services could be done better — with higher standards, more care, and real trust. From the beginning, it was about having the right people to build that properly.

When I spoke to Sheridan about it, the idea just clicked. He saw the same opportunity I did, and more importantly, we shared the same values around standards, trust, and doing right by people. That conversation was the start of GGT as it is today.

I tend to look at things from the other person’s point of view. Whether that’s a customer, a cleaner, or someone having a bad day — I try not to take things personally and focus on understanding first. That approach shapes how I work and how we run the business.

My job is to support and empower the people doing the work, not stand in front of them. If the team feels backed, respected, and motivated, the service takes care of itself.

Day to day, I look after the systems & behind-the-scenes details that keeps everything running smoothly — while Sheridan focuses on standards and delivery on the ground. We play to each other’s strengths, know each other’s weaknesses, and make decisions together with one goal in mind: delivering a service people genuinely trust and feel confident using.
